It was founded in 1996 A.D by Isfahan Municipality. It is located in a garden which is about 55000 square meters, in Najvan Park area, at the bank of Zayandeh Rood River.

It is an ideal place to see local birds and various birds brought from different countries. The total population of birds in this garden exceeds 4000 comprising 130 different species.
