Darvaze Qoran (Qoran Gate) is located in North East of Shiraz and actually in the exit of the city towards Marvdasht. It is one of the old gates of Shiraz and nowadays it is a historical site.

Darvaze Qoran was built at the time of Azo- Doleh and a Qoran was embedded on top of the gate so when the travelers past from beneath, they get blessed by Qoran. During Zandiyeh dynasty, Karim Khan restored this gate and added a room on the top with two precious copy of Qoran, written by Soltan Ebrahim ebne Shahrokh Teymori. These Qorans are noun as “Qoran Hefdah Man”.

The tomb of Khajavi Kermani the mystic and poet is next to Darvaze Qoran. Also next to this gate there are tea houses and shops selling Faloude Shirazi and you can enjoying the nice view of the place.
